Sleepy hollow bright eyes (wabbit) is offered for sale only to a special home looking for a competitive future kids saddle Shetland mare.
10.1, 3/4's
DOB 1/12/13.
Lightly saddle broken, longreins well and safe, sound, sensible, no spook, bite, rear, pull back, bolt etc.
Unfortunately I have a mare close to her age starting under saddle also so very hard to manage 2 saddle mares and a gelding so sadly for me she will needing a new owner to love her.
She has won every single led class she has competed in, multiple supreme breed exhibit and a big 4th in the OPEN mare class when she just turned 5 at Sydney royal 2018 up against more than 10 mares.
She is a big bodied girl and has the perfect height, leg and movement for her to progress in saddle.
I am NOT selling her as a kids pony as she is green broken but will definitely suit a child when she has had more KM's under her girth.
She has a very strong walk and beautiful paces all-round.
She gave me a beautiful big retained foal as a maiden almost 12mths ago and would also be a great asset to any future breeding again.
She recently rubbed her mane out when she went to Sydney due to being separated from a herd as she has always been in a group environment her whole life but will stand at a float all day alone or can have ponies taken from the paddock without any fuss... She does require friends to groom and she has been with horses and ponies of all heights showing dominance but this is pretty standard for her and does not show 'mare' behaviours at all.
Rider suitability would be a capable small person to educate further :)
